Following the decline in demand for retail space across a private portfolio in Greater Manchester, we undertook strategic review to identify opportunities for converting underutilised spaces into residential use. These spaces, often vacant or used for storage, presented a unique opportunity for development despite challenges such as varied property conditions and compliance with legislation.
By leveraging permitted development rights we expedited the planning process, reducing time and costs, and transforming the spaces into modern, comfortable residential units.
