Acquisition review of strategic land in Cheshire, effected by HS2

Results

A private landowner in Cheshire was in negotiations with HS2 in respect of part of their estate, which in total comprised 120 acres of land sitting between an existing industrial estate and a major bypass. The landowner was seeking a buyer for the remaining land.

The proposed HS2 route would significantly impact the accessibility of the site.

We acted for on behalf of a group of private investors, with a brief to review the developability of the land remaining following the HS2 acquisition, and provide development appraisals to support a bid.
