Pub Portfolio Review

Asset review for a group of under performing pubs across northern UK

Results

A large pub company was seeking to dispose of a group of properties which had either been vacant for prolonged periods, traded poorly, or had large underdeveloped plots.

In some cases, the properties were Listed Buildings, within conservation areas, or within the green belt, making an assessment of their developability more complex.

We undertook a review of the group, using a standardised framework to find best possible alternative uses, potential for new build on plats, and various other deliverability factors.

This process helped the client to determine which properties should be prioritised in terms of marketing, and where surplus land existed, whether it would be appropriate to request overage provisions.
